Welcome to our latest newsletter, the first this year, all of which we hope have helped to keep you updated on our latest news and provide you with vital information on the activities of this great institution. 2019 is most definitely the year of revolution for Nanyuki Cottage Hospital as we embark on the long awaited change over plan to steer the institution towards even better healthcare where we will be fully embracing and hence bringing closer the most yearned for modern medical technology. With this in mind, Nanyuki Cottage Hospital is now setting up a Renal Unit and ICU (Intensive Care Unit) in the facility. The Hospital remains unique and at the helm of the medical industry as it not only cares for the acute illnesses but also is a special home for the frail and the elderly citizens.
We are proud to introduce the new Hospital Consulting CEO (Anup Das) who joined the institution at the beginning of March 2019, he comes in with vast knowledge and experience in the medical industry making him the perfect candidate to take over the leadership of this prestigious institution. He is in the forefront helping the Hospital in the infrastructure upgrade and overall reorganization to realize the said modern medical technology status.
The Hospital’s Louise Decker Center phase II project which kicked off on Monday 28th June 2018 was finally completed and handed over to the on the 13th of December 2018 ready for occupation. The project was a success and the hospital is immensely grateful for all the support, input and cooperation by the teams working on the project.
The long awaited AGM was finally held on the 15th March 2019 at the Hospital’s Napier room where the new CEO (Anup Das) was introduced to the present members, the Audited accounts and status was also shared.
The Hospital received a digital ECG machine under placement from TRICOG HEALTH PTE LTD handed over by the Zipporah Bundi (Genenral Manager-East Africa). Reports will be done by Cardiologists from India and Kenya with a Turn Around Time of 6 minutes and the results sent via mail and mobile App. The medical team was trained on the usage of the machine.
The 2019 membership subscriptions are due. Please note that subscription for members above 18 years is Ksh. 2,000 per member and for members below 18 years is Ksh. 500 per member. Payments can be made to the Hospital by cash, cheque or through MPESA. Details for MPESA payments are: Paybill Number: 500138 Account Name: Member Name-2019 Subscription All membership cards will be picked at the Cashier’s desk. .
The annual LAWE Party was held on the 23rd of December 2018 and was well attended by a jovial crowd who expressed their gratitude through song and dance; thereafter relaxed and enjoyed lunch and cake. They were also presented with some gifts of food and clothes. .PharmacyLaboratoryConsultation
